Farewell from your Creative Technologies Coordinator
Hey everyone, some of you have already heard the news, but it’s with a heavy heart that I tell my time at TMU has unfortunately come to an end, and this is going to be my last semester here.
RCC 372 became my second home over the last two years, and the ProCom staff my second family. This has been my favourite job I’ve had, and I can tell you with confidence that it isn’t even close. I woke up almost every day excited to go to work, even when my office was sitting at 15 degrees when it’s 25 outside. Knowing that I was showing up and helping make your days a little bit better is the most fulfilling experience I could have imagined. It’s truly been an honour to work with all of you, and get to know you.
If you need any help, I’m still going to be in my office Monday-Thursday until the start of the winter break. Feel free to book an appointment, or just drop by. I’ve had a few students ask if there’s any way they can keep in touch with me. I’m generally not a very public person online, and don’t really engage with social media very much. I have a Bluesky I’ve been trying to use more (@jcrmxyz.bluesky.social), and I’ll be continuing my personal work that you can follow through my website (jacbocram.xyz), as well as my work on Burn These Books on Youtube. I can be reached more directly by emailing info@jacobcram.xyz as well.
Thank you all. It’s been my pleasure to work with you, and I’m wishing you all the best in the days ahead.
-Jacob
