Evaluation, Selection, and Project Proposal Tools

We are now ready to use Miro tools to express how we’ll evaluate the ideas generated during the brainstorming session. We will use different techniques and Miro templates during the evaluation workflow phase.

Video: Evaluation and Selection

Synopsis: This is an introduction to some of the tools Miro offers to us. With our thoughts poured into our digital whiteboard, we will apply an evaluation matrix called an empathy map to organize the information related to our user personas. After evaluating our ideas, we need to select the design direction to solve our problem statement. We will use sticky notes to write our possible design solutions and then apply Dot voting tools to reach a consensus.

Duration: 2 minutes

Video

Synopsis: We will prepare a Project Proposal that outlines our design direction. It will include Low-fidelity (lo-fi) sketches that serve as a rough blueprint for your design project. Remember that lo-fi (or “low resolution”) is a rough sketch vs. a refined visual.

Duration: 3 minutes
