The Practicum Center has two spaces within it that are available for bookings. While you are free to use the spaces on a first-come-first-served basis, making a booking is recommended to make sure you get your time in the space, especially towards the end of the semester.
Board Room
The board room is able to comfortably fit 8 people around the table, with outlets available under the table. It features a TV that you can remotely project your screen to using the Apple TV. Additional connections to this screen are available on request!
The space can also be set up for virtual meetings, just reach out to Jacob in advance to request the OWL unit for that purpose.
Recording Booth
The recording booth is a perfect space to do any voice over or audio recording you’ll need. It has been set up with sound isolating panels so that outside noise doesn’t come in, and inside noise doesn’t get out (at least too much). It is equipped with an iMac, and a Blue Yeti microphone so you can sit down and get to recording as quickly and easily as possible.
This space is on the smaller side, only comfortably fitting about 3 people. We recommend the DME for their recording space if you want to do video recording as well, or if our space is fully booked!
