The SLC is the most recent addition to the Ryerson campus. Its eight floors are feature private work rooms and open study space. You can learn more about the building’s functional approach at their blog.
The SLC offers private study rooms where you can work and collaborate with your classmates. Many of these rooms feature a television and whiteboard walls that are great for brainstorming group ideas. There are a total of 61 rooms available, with each space accommodating 4-8 students. You can book one of these rooms through Ryerson Library booking system.
The fourth floor of the SLC houses its student learning support, where you can request academic advice and receive support to help you in your classes, whether it be study skills or english language support. Workshops are also offered on a rolling basis. They replicate a classroom setting and are focused on helping you familiarizing yourself with a wide variety of topics including grammatical errors, study tricks and time management.
